Since having access to a 3D printer I have been looking for various household and office objects to fabricate instead of buying. One that has been a great success is a iPhone 5S case.

The first print did not work because of the shrinkage of the plastic and the tight fit that I wanted meant that I did not have much room to spare. After some adjustments the case fitted like a glove.

The printer is a Makerbot Replicator 2x. It has the ability of printing 2 colours in the same model. The material is ABS. I have uploaded the print files to my profile on Thingiverse so that anyone can download them for free. http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:815395
